laravelhashgenerator.com is a free toolbox of small, single-purpose online utilities: hashing (Bcrypt, MD5, SHA-1), encoding (Base64, URL, JWT), generators (UUID, passwords, QR codes, slugs), text tools (case conversion, word counting), and developer utilities (JSON formatting, timestamp conversion, regex testing, CSV/JSON conversion, and a cron expression builder). Every tool is free, requires no signup, and is built to be usable in seconds rather than requiring you to install anything.
The site launched in November 2022 with five tools built around a common developer need:
quickly generating and checking hashes, particularly Bcrypt hashes matching Laravel's
Hash::make() output, without spinning up a local environment just to run one
function. It stayed at those five tools for several years before a larger update expanded
it to 18, adding encoding, generator, text, and developer-utility tools covering the kinds
of quick tasks developers and general users search for most often.
Most tools on this site run entirely in your browser using standard Web APIs: the Web
Crypto API for password and UUID generation, native JSON/regex support for
the JSON, CSV, and regex tools, and plain JavaScript for text and encoding conversions.
Nothing you type into those tools is sent anywhere. A small number of tools, specifically
the Bcrypt, MD5, and SHA hash generators, do send your input to our server, because
bcrypt hashing in particular requires real computation that isn't practical to run in a
browser. See the Privacy Policy for details
on what's logged.
The site is supported by advertising rather than subscriptions or accounts, which is why no tool requires signing up or providing an email address. The goal is for any of these 18 tools to be faster to use than opening a code editor or a full-featured desktop application for a one-off task.
This is an independently run and maintained site, and it has grown based on what visitors actually ask for. If there's a tool you'd find useful, or something on an existing page that's wrong or confusing, the Contact page is the way to reach us.
